Job Description:

• Solid understanding of relational database principles and experience with PostgreSQL.

• Developing cloud-native applications in AWS including hands-on familiarity with services such as Lambda, s3, Appsync, EC2, SNS, etc. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., GitHub, Gitlab).

What You Will Do:

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code for front end (UI) and backend systems based on business requirements and technical designs.

• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and other backend services to support application functionality.

• Work with AWS cloud services for deploying, managing, and scaling applications, including services like EC2, Lambda, S3, and others.

• Develop user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks and technologies to deliver responsive and intuitive user experiences.

• Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support application data needs and ensure efficient database performance.

• Test code thoroughly by writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software reliability and robustness.

• Deploy software updates and new features efficiently, coordinating with DevOps or release teams.

• Monitor and improve performance by analyzing application behavior in production and optimizing where necessary.

• Attend regular meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and technical design discussions to align with the team and stakeholders.

• Identify, triage, and fix production bugs promptly to minimize downtime and impact on users.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, product, and infrastructure, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Document technical details, including design decisions, APIs, database schemas, and troubleshooting guides, to support team knowledge and future maintenance.

• Incorporate AI-driven development tools and agentic models, such as Cursor and Claude Code, as a standard practice to enhance productivity and innovation.

• Implement robust test automation strategies, including unit tests and integration tests, to ensure high-quality and reliable software delivery.

• Who You Are (Basic Qualifications): Skilled in frontend UI development using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

• Strong experience in .NET development Solid experience with SQL and writing/optimizing stored procedures.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) expertise in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs using .NET technologies, along with proficiency in leveraging AWS cloud services such as EC2 and Lambda.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in regular team meetings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.

• Other Considerations: (physical demands/ unusual working conditions) Shift timings 12 PM to 9 PM IST.
