Job Description:

• Work on end-to-end implementation and configuration of SAP Advanced Payment Management (APM) and In-House Banking (IHB)

• Analyze Business requirements and design payment processing solutions.

• Design and implement bank connectivity with Multi-bank connectivity(MBC) and SWIFTintegration.

• Integrate SAP APM with:SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP Central Component, SAP Bank Communication Management, SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity, SWIFT Integration

• Configure payment factory scenarios and centralized payment processing with complex disparate and distributed systems (including SAP and Non-SAP systems)

• Configure POBO payment processing integrating SAP IHB.

• Configure payment workflows, approval processes, payment methods, and payment routing.

• Configure payment formats such as ISO 20022 XML, SEPA and SWIFT MT/MX

• Support payment exception handling, payment monitoring, and reconciliation.

• Work with treasury and finance teams on payment controls and compliance.

• Coordinate testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production deployment.

• Develop functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP/integration developers.

• Troubleshoot payment processing issues and optimize system performance.

CORE TECHNICAL EXPERTISE

These are the foundational SAP modules and banking configurations required for the role.

SAP CORE MODULES:

• SAP APM (Advanced Payment Management) — End-to-end implementation and configuration.

• SAP IHB (In-House Banking) — Setup, configuration, and management.

PAYMENT & BANKING CONFIGURATIONS:

• POBO (Payments on Behalf Of) processing via SAP IHB.

• Centralized Payment Factory scenarios across disparate/distributed networks.

• Payment routing rules, approval processes, and workflows.

INTEGRATION & CONNECTIVITY

The candidate must know how to link SAP APM with internal systems and external banking networks.

• SAP Ecosystem Integration: SAP S/4HANA & SAP ERP Central Component (ECC), SAP BCM (Bank Communication Management), SAP MBC (Multi-Bank Connectivity)

• External Banking Networks: SWIFT Integration (MT/MX messaging formats)

• System Environments: Managing payment processing involving both SAP and Non-SAP systems.

FUNCTIONAL & LIFECYCLE SKILLS

• General consulting, development collaboration, and project delivery tasks.

• Business Analysis: Requirement gathering, analyzing business needs, and designing payment solutions.

• Technical Design: Writing Functional Specifications and collaborating with ABAP/Integration developers.

• Testing & Deployment: Coordinating System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production deployment.

• Maintenance: Troubleshooting complex payment processing issues and optimizing system performance.
