Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Mid-Level SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) Developer to join our growing, distributed digital commerce team. In this role, you will work from home to develop new e-commerce features, maintain existing modules, and configure core platform settings. You will collaborate virtually with our technical architects and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable B2B/B2C solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Feature Development: Write clean, maintainable Java code to implement business logic, extensions, and data models within the SAP Commerce framework.

• Platform Configuration: Configure and manage core platform modules including Backoffice, Product Content Management (PCM), WCMS, and Order Management (OMS).

• API & Integrations: Implement and maintain OCC (Omnicommerce Connect) REST APIs to connect the backend with front-end applications and third-party services.

• Search Optimization: Configure, customize, and tune Apache Solr search indexing and facets to improve the user shopping experience.

• Maintenance & Support: Debug software defects, investigate performance issues, and apply system hotfixes or upgrades.

• Testing: Write comprehensive JUnit test cases and integration tests to ensure code quality and zero regressions.

• Virtual Collaboration: Participate actively in daily remote Agile/Scrum ceremonies, estimate user stories, and collaborate via Slack/Teams with QA and front-end teams.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Core Platform: 2 to 4 years of dedicated development experience with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud.

• Languages & Frameworks: Solid foundation in Java SE (8 or higher), Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security), and ImpEx scripting.

• Web Services: Hands-on experience working with REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML data formats.

• Tools & Environment: Familiarity with build tools (Gradle, Ant), Git version control, and relational databases (SQL).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud public cloud infrastructure (CCv2).

• Basic understanding of or exposure to the Angular-based Spartacus storefront.

• SAP Commerce Cloud Developer Certification is a strong plus.

• Proven track record of working productively in a remote, self-driven team environment.
