Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer with 8+ years of experience and deep expertise in Java, microservices architecture, and Oracle ATG Web Commerce. The ideal candidate will also have wrought knowledge of Kotlin and basic exposure to performance testing. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems for high-traffic, enterprise-grade applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop robust, scalable backend systems using Java and Kotlin Develop and maintain services within Microservices architecture.

• Customize and extend components within the Oracle ATG Web Commerce platform

• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and performance optimizations

• Conduct small-scale performance testing and tuning to ensure system responsiveness and stability

• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Write clean, maintainable code and adhere to engineering best practices

• Troubleshoot and debug complex backend issues in production and test environments

MANDATORY SKILLS JAVA (8 OR HIGHER)

• Strong object-oriented design and multithreaded programming skills Microservices

• Experience with distributed systems, service orchestration, and API design Oracle ATG (Web Commerce)

• Hands-on experience in customizing and developing ATG modules Kotlin

• Working knowledge or production-level experience

OPTIONAL / NICE TO HAVE SKILLS

• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, or JPA.

• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or profiling tools

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment

• Understanding of RESTful API design and integration with frontend systems

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
